Counting the months until you can watch out actress Amber Heard in the new NBC show Playboy? This little video should keep you distracted. Heard is front and center in the Fall 2011 Guess campaign, for which this video was shot by photographer Ellen von Unwerth.
The video, set to a pumped up version of Johnny Cash‘s “Folsom Prison Blues,” is a nod to Marilyn Monroe‘s turn in the 1956 film Bus Stop. It’s not my favorite of Monroe’s films, but there’s no denying her charisma and sex appeal in it. Ditto Heard while she’s shilling for Guess.
Funny, I found the cowboys to be superfluous in both!
