We run a lot of recaps on AfterEllen.com, but we aren’t able to run them on every single show with a lesbian or bisexual female character. It’s a great problem to have, really – too many shows on television with gay women. So we decided to do a weekly column giving you the basics on the lesbianish storylines and highlights from out lesbians who have regular shows on the tube. If we miss anything, we’d love for you to send us a tip.

Shameless (Showtime, Sundays): Amy Smart guest starred as Jasmine, a young mom whose kids go to school with Debbie, and befriends Fiona when she comes in to help out. Jasmine takes an immediate interest in spending time with, complimenting and kissing Fiona, with hints that she might want something more from her in the next episode.

The Good Wife (CBS, Tuesdays): Alicia helps Kalinda out when she is subpoenaed, but Kalinda figures out how to direct attention back to Blake and get out of the proceedings. But at the end of the episode, a huge secret is revealed about her that changes everything.
All About Aubrey (Oxygen): For the second week in a row, Aubrey flirted with bisexuality by going into the sauna with Krystal and giving her friend her first girl kiss. When Aubrey tweeted a photo of them naked together in the sauna, gossip sites went wild, calling Krystal Aubrey’s new girlfriend.
