Tonight at 9 p.m. on Fox, The O.C. will call it quits after three and a half seasons of Orange County teen emo-inflected, quip-heavy angst. Though some viewers felt that the show made a good effort to revive itself this year, the ratings didn’t improve, falling to a low of about 4 million viewers per week. For lesbian and bi viewers, it probably didn’t help that ostensibly bisexual Marissa (Mischa Barton) died in a car crash at the end of last season.
