Kathy and Mariska make lesbian dreams come true
We already told you that Kathy Griffin is playing a lesbian activist on the March 3 episode of Law & Order: SVU.
We even showed you much of the video clip that I’m about to show you. But the new part — the part we didn’t have until this weekend — is the stuff of lesbian fantasy. Yes, ladies; Babs (Griffin) and Olivia (Mariska Hargitay) kiss. (The new footage is near the end of the clip. Apologies for the voice/picture synch problems.)
Oh, what I wouldn’t give for a clip of the kiss. For now, though, we have to settle for imagining it – which, in all likelihood, will be much steamier than the real thing.
Griffin did, however, tell TV Guide that the kiss is more lip-lock than peck.
The director told us he needed the kiss to be longer, so we ended up really making out. I was basically trying to get laid.
Still, she doesn’t remember much about it.
I was so nervous about getting my character right that the last thing I gave a s–t about was kissing a girl. When it came to the actual kiss, I kind of don’t remember it. I’d love to sit here and say her lips are soft, but you’d have to ask Babs.
If we ever had a shadow of a doubt about Griffin’s sexual orientation, that pretty much settles it. Nobody but a straight girl could forget a kiss with Mariska.
According to reports from the set, Kathy did a great job with the role. Even though that could put her D-List status in serious jeopardy, I’d love to see her succeed as a serious actress.
Will you be tuning in to see Kathy and Mariska speak in tongues? Do you buy Griffin in a dramatic role?
