I can’t tell you how happy I was to see you again this week! I know we’ve lost contact this season, but now that you have moved, we can get to know each other all over again. Missed you much!

But Betty, we need to talk. I heard a somewhat disturbing rumor this week. You remember Michael Ausiello, right? Well, he said that you and Daniel are getting, um, close – and I’m not talking about your desk’s proximity to his office.
Now don’t get me wrong; I have grown fond of Daniel. He has matured so much recently — I know that the two of you care deeply about each other. But romance? I just don’t see it. The two of you just don’t “click” that way. I, for one, am not ready for “Detty.”
Sure, you’re frustrated with Matt (you know I’m still pulling for Henry), but the truth is that you don’t really need a boyfriend to be happy. I’m proof of that, right? Think about it, Betty. These past few years have been a journey toward finding yourself. And you have discovered what most of us have known all along: that you are a bright, charming and, yes, attractive woman. You have become that woman on your own. I don’t want to sound cliché, but you have said it yourself: the most important relationship a woman can have is with herself.
Of course, I will love you no matter what. And the story is far from written. So be happy, Betty, and know that your friends are pulling for you to have a happily ever after. Oh, and tell Marc hi – his new squeeze is a cutie!
