Meanwhile, Hanna has Noel tied up in her hidey-hole, where she rips the duct tape off his mouth and says, “Wake up, bitch!” What a gem of a woman. She pulls out a huge knife to threaten Noel with, but he’s barely conscious, so she stabs him in the leg. That escalated quickly!
The police show up at Spencer’s house, led by Marco, who is surprisingly competent and helpful. He assures the Liars that Noel is going down, and Spencer basically creams her jeans over a police officer that doesn’t accuse her of murder. Hanna’s disappearance makes national news (bc she’s a blonde white girl) and the manhunt is on for Noel Kahn. Meanwhile, Hanna drops off Noel’s blood at a DNA lab to prove that he’s A.D./Mary’s second child.
Hanna, realizing she’s in over her head, calls in the cavalry, aka Mona to help her. Mona is like, “let a girl know when you abduct someone next time” and she sets about helping Hanna craft a lie to tell the police/Liars. Mona also finds the stolen flash drive in Noel’s boot, which means that they have enough evidence to put Noel away. But poor Hanna is still on a mission to prove Noel is A.D., and refuses to settle for anything less. Girl, take the win.
