Morning Brew – Bella Thorne comes out as bisexual

Good morning!

People are really loving/hating the idea of lesbian farmers.

Out South Carolina lesbian police chief Crystal Moore has been suspended for five days, but her employers say it has nothing to do with her sexual orientation and that it’s “a personnel matter.”

Apparently, if you ask Dominos to write a joke inside your pizza box, you will end up with this:

“Why did the lesbian go to Modell’s? Because she doesn’t like Dicks! P.S. If you like Dicks, HMU.”

The lesbian moms who received this pizza were not impressed and are upset the driver is still employed by Dominos.

In other small town news, a lesbian couple put up a pride flag after the Pulse tragedy. They went on vacation and came back to it having been stolen and their house egged. In support, the whole suburb put up pride flags on their own homes, and love is so much better than hate.

Westword talks with Cameron Esposito.

Tatiana Maslany said some awesome things about the diversity on Orphan Black. Here’s part of it:

The way that we treat sexuality is something I’m extremely proud of and that I’m very political about as well. One of my favorite lines of our show is when Cosima says, “My sexuality isn’t the most interesting thing about me.” That to me is so important to drive home, to remember that as much as Cosima represents a large community of people, she is more than her sexuality. She’s defined by her intelligence and her desire to learn and her knowledge of science, her huge compassion and her huge heart, her flaws and her selfishness. She doesn’t just sit as this archetype and that is something that I feel really proud of and excited by.

Recalling Madonna‘s whole thing with Sandra Bernhard. And the Village Voice’s out film critic Melissa Anderson writes about the anniversary of Truth or Dare.

Bella Thorne answered a fan’s question on Twitter, confirming she is bisexual.

And she may just have a girlfriend.

Supermodel Irina Shayk says she could never be attracted to women:

“No way. I’m Russian: I’m into men, diamonds and caviar.”

Caviar sounds pretty lez to me, girl.

Mashable writes about Her Story‘s Emmy nomination.

Lily Tomlin is surprised to hear this is her 23rd Emmy nomination.

Sarah Paulson talks about learning about her two nominations this year.

Speaking of Sarah, she’s not bringing boo Holland Taylor with her to the Emmys this year, but she is starring as Geraldine Page in Ryan Murphy‘s new project Feud.

Sharon Van Etten has a beautiful song she wrote as a tribute to the victims of Pulse.

Freja Beha Erichsen answers a few questions at Interview.

Refinery29 talks with Rowan Blanchard about feminist fashion.

Cher is here for Hillary, alongside every lesbian in Provincetown.

British critics think Mulholland Drive is the best film of the 21st century. Blue Is the Warmest Color comes in at #45 and Carol at #69.
