The Liars (sans Aria) break into the storm cellar, and we find out that Hanna’s understanding of what a cellar is sadly lacking. They find a classic Rosewood lair, complete with surveillance photos, shrines to Ali, and files on all the Liars except Aria, bc she doesn’t even go here. Jessica DiLaurentis spent years searching for Ali, but didn’t leave to see her alive again. Emily finds a file on Mary, who underwent electroshock and other forms of torture thanks to Jessica. They also find out that Mary had a SECOND CHILD, and Hanna is like, “Fucking great, another DiLaurentis cousin that wants to murder us all!”
It makes sense that Charlotte’s estranged sibling would go after the Liars to avenge Charlotte’s murderer…insofar as anything on this show makes actual sense. Now we’ll have to wait and see who this mystery sibling is: Ali? Spencer? That raccoon?
Aria and Ezra are heading out the door to Italy when the FBI show up with news that Nicole might still be alive. Guess the wedding’s gonna be on hold.
Back at the cellar, Spencer’s car alarm goes off, and the Liars go running into the car and close the doors to turn it off. As soon as they pile in, the doors lock and a countdown appears on the GPS screen. They brace for impact, but it’s not the car that blows up; it’s the storm cellar. They then read a message from A.D. threatening their lives, followed by A.D.’s writing “I see you” on the dirty car window.
Later, we see A.D. pouring themselves a drink while reading through Aria’s stolen file. They pour some booze on Noel’s file and light it on fire.
