They free Clarke, and she tries to stop the bleeding in Ontari’s head so that they can take out the City of Light chip and put the flame in, but Clarke soon sees that Ontari is brain-dead. Meaning even if they did get the flame in Ontari, she wouldn’t be able to tell them the kill code.
