Oktavia kom Oktaviakru, Legendary FloorHeda, meets her brother night. He’s glad she came, and she opens her arms wide. Her gullible brother assumes he’s forgiven and goes in for the hug, only to be tranqed.
Clarke goes to see Titus, who is putting the Flame away. She looks at it and asks if Lexa is really in there, and Titus says of course she is. Murphy asks why it would matter if her girlfriend was in there, but NO ONE ASKED YOU, MURPHY. Titus says it’s Ontari’s birthright to compete in the conclave, but that the Flame deepens a person’s qualities, and Lexa was the best of all of us, which is why she was the best Commander. If Ontari’s qualities are amplified, it won’t be great.
Clarke asks how to make sure Aden wins; he was Lexa’s favorite. Titus says that Lexa will choose him, but Clarke isn’t sure it’s that simple.
A victory horn sounds, confusing them all, and they run to the throne room, where Ontari is sitting there, nightblood all over her face.
Ontari beheaded all of the Nightbloods and has declared herself Heda. All of Lexa’s precious natbleda’s, killed in their sleep. But don’t worry, that’s only one of the traumatizing things that happen in this episode.
Bellamy wakes up to find Octavia and Indra looking down on him in every sense of the word. Bellamy shouts that they need to save everyone, and Octavia hisses wanting to save someone doesn’t count as heroic if you’re the reason they need to be saved in the first place. Bellamy insists that she needs him, but she looks at him defiantly and says she needs him like a fish needs a bicycle.
In Arkadia, Miller’s boyfriend comes home and Miller tricks him into confessing that he’s the one who planted the bug in his uniform. He understands that he has a loyalty to Pike, but he has to choose between Miller and Pike. Which is also what I’ve been telling anyone who says they’re voting for Trump.
Abby finally returns to us, but only to say goodbye to Kane.
