“The 100” recap (3.07): May we meet again

Lexa orders the army to march on Arkadia, but not to attack. She just wants to keep them contained so Pike can’t claim any more land, and so they can anticipate any moves his people might make. Clarke thinks this sounds like a good compromise.

“I can work with this.”

Lexa says they’ll keep the blockade up to give them time to fix their leadership flaws, and as soon as Pike is knocked down a peg or seventy, they’ll welcome Skaikru back as the 13th clan again. Lexa looks at Clarke and Octavia, knowing they’re not going to to like her next order, but knowing it’s the only thing her people will respond to and says that anyone who crosses the border they create will be killed.

“She’s sooo not going to like this part.”

Octavia’s captor doesn’t see how this is good vengeance, but Lexa says it isn’t. It’s justice. There’s a difference. Well, this answer doesn’t please him at all, so he launches himself at Lexa, shouting for her death. Titus jump in, protecting his Commander, killing the man who dares threaten her. For it is his duty, to protect her and serve her, even as if he doesn’t agree with her. Titus turns to Lexa and uses the dead man at his feet as evidence: Blood must have blood.

NOT IF YOU ALL LISTENED TO ME.

Clarke GrumpyCats in the background, her expression probably a combination of anger that someone tried to kill her jellybean and jealousy that she didn’t get to beat the man’s face in herself.

Does not like.

Down in Titus’s temple-room, Murphy gets loose from the chair he was tied to and pokes around the room, looking for a way out, when he realizes that part of Titus’s shrine is actually a space pod that says Polaris on the side. He’s putting pieces together.
