Morning Brew – Cameron Esposito is getting her own show on FX

Good morning!

Cameron Esposito is working with You’re The Worst creator Stephen Falk on developing her own show for FX. From The Hollywood Reporter:

The single-camera entry follows the relationship between Cameron (played by Esposito) and Eve, two very different sisters in their early 30s — one straight and one gay. The potential series, which is in development at FX, is poised to explore the spectrum of gender, sexuality, options and mistakes that exist in 2016. It’s described as an update on the “can she have it all” premise to “What if she had it all and it sucked so bad she had to start again.” Esposito is set to star in the comedy about adulthood without a finish line.

“I fall in love constantly! But finding someone to share my life with—it’s more difficult to fill those shoes. I’m very curious to see where my life ends up when it comes to partnership. I always think of my life as a pie. My pie is f–king fine. I’ve got the best pie! It’s so delicious. If you want to add some ice cream and s–t on top, you are welcome to join the party, but you don’t get to take a slice of my pie.”
