Thursday night on Investigation Discovery’s new series Women in Prison, an inmate in an Indiana prison named Alicia shares her story of finding love with another woman while behind bars. Described as a former “soccer mom” with a husband and a child who was “living the perfect suburban life,” Alicia was eventually charged with fraud and is now struggling to keep custody of her son despite being incarcerated. The one light in her life is her girlfriend, Elisa, who she sees “two to three times a week, if [they’re] lucky.”
