Morning Brew – “Legend of Korra” movie rumored to be coming to Netflix

Happy Friday!

Ever wish you could have a Dykes on Bikes emoji? Now you can!

History was made in Italy this week when a judge ruled that the biological mother of a child must share custody with her ex-partner, who is also the child’s parent.

Meanwhile in Ohio, non-bio moms are still unable to adopt their own children.

Could Legend of Korra see a live movie on Netflix, focused on Korrasami? Could be just rumors, but sign this petition! Stranger things have happened.

A lesbian named Hollie is part of #thisdoesntmeanyes, a campaign with Rape Crisis South London. She spoke of how queer women are a part of the conversation.

“We had always been very clear that this campaign was for all women including the lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities, and her stories re-iterated that it isn’t just straight women who are victims.”

Want to read some queer theory? Here are a few suggested texts.

Showtime premieres Knock Knock, It’s Tig Notaro tonight (we have a review coming today!) and Tig talked with Paper about the experience of performing in the homes of strangers. She also talked about her engagement to Stephanie Allynne.

“We keep setting a date but then we both keep getting jobs or something. We’re realizing we just have to set a date and say no to whatever job comes along and get married to each other. We’re hoping within the next year.”

Cara Delevingne and St. Vincent looked beautiful at the Burberry event in LA last night.

Michelle Rodriguez wants more female directors.

SNL‘s Cecily Strong loves Rachel Maddow. Get in line, girl!
