Entertainment Tonight (those lucky souls) scored an exclusive clip of this week’s upcoming Glee episode, where the show will be celebrating its 700th song, “What the World Needs Now.” And what the world needs now is more Brittana. The lovebirds are one of the focal points of the episode, which features the songs of Burt Bacharach.
In this clip which intersperses interviews with the cast, and scenes from the episode, we get to see Brittany tell her parents (the perfectly cast Jennifer Coolidge and Ken Jeong) about her engagement to Santana. Brit’s mom’s pet name for Santana is apparently “Yeasty,” which is everything.
In fact, the 700th number is actually dedicated to Santana and Brittany’s love, a celebration of their upcoming nuptials sung by the whole gang. Feels explosion.
As a bonus, Mercedes is also back to mentor the New Directions and have a little heart-to-heart with Rachel about Sam. Hold me, Mercedes!
The whole video is quite cute, with tender moments like when Lea Michele gets teary talking about the end of the Glee journey.
