Morning Brew – The real Alex Vause lands a book deal

Good morning! Happy Friday!

AfterEllen just joined Instagram, and right on time to catch Mary Lambert’s secret show in L.A. last night. The new songs from Heart on My Sleeve are fan-fucking-tastic.

We’ll be hosting a live chat with Hunter Valentine’s Kiyomi and Laura today at 10 a.m. PT. Ask questions using #askhv on Twitter and join us live to talk about this week’s Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project. Here’s a clip that didn’t make the show, where Kiyomi and Laura tell Laura why they think Aimee is using them. Then Linda calls Aimee Kristy McNichol and it’s amazing.
