On Friday night, the creators of ABC Family’s The Fosters were awarded the Lambda Legal Liberty Award during the Lambda Legal West Coast Liberty Awards in Beverly Hills. Executive producers/showrunners Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige accepted the honor from two stars of their show, Sherri Saum and Maia Mitchell. We grabbed some time with Brad, Peter, Sherri and Amanda Leighton (Emma) before the awards, and talked about Season 2 of the groundbreaking series, which premieres tonight on ABC Family.
