Watch now! Ivana Miličević on playing gay and “Banshee”

Does watching a hot girl kick some serious ass get you all hot and bothered? Then you should be watching the Cinemax series, Banshee.

It may not be the queerest show on the air – though Hoon Lee does rock some hot outfits and heels as the show’s transvestite bad ass, Job – but this is a show where the women are on the same level as the men in terms of the high-octane fights and battles.

Actress Ivana Milivecic – of Croation descent who grew up modeling and dancing before diving into acting – plays Carrie, a former criminal who put the past behind her with a new identity as wife and mother in the town of Banshee until her partner in crime/ex (Antony Starr) showed up and turned her life upside down.

The stunning Milivecic sat down with AfterEllen earlier this week to chat about some of her intense fight scenes on the second season of the show (which begins tonight), what we won’t be seeing while her character is in prison this season as well as gay roles being in her future.

Banshee airs Fridays at 10 p.m. on Cinemax.
