Watch Now! The lesbian twist on this week’s “Catfish”

Last night on Catfish: The TV Show, single mom Keyonnah called Nev and Max to help her figure out if she was truly in an online relationship with the rapper Bow Wow. While that might seem unlikely from the get-go, the person Keyonnah was communicating with had sent her $10,000 over the course of their internet courtship.

Whoever it was, Keyonnah wanted to meet them face-to-face, and Nev and Max went to North Carolina to help her.

OK, now that we’re all on the same page, wow! So Dee (or Dee Pimpin) seemed genuinely interested in being at least a friend to Keyonnah, but unfortunately, she’s all about tricking straight girls to “convert” them, and that ain’t right! The whole time I was thinking, “Dee, you are attractive, have some swag and you live in Atlanta. You can find a real gay chick that you won’t have to lie to.” But she must have some insecurities that drove her to create a fake Bow Wow profile which she used to meet women like Keyonnah.

As for the money, it was sad to see that Dee didn’t see anything wrong with asking friends and family for that much cash when they thought they were giving it to her for her rapping career. Keyonnah was benefitting from their trust in Dee, which was clearly misplaced.

Dee has a Facebook page on which she asks people to not hate her. She’s also on Twitter where it appears a lot of women are asking her for some money.

Bow Wow himself reacted to the episode by inviting both Keyonnah and Dee to come on his BET show, 106 & Park.

What did you think of this week’s episode? Were you surprised by what Dee had to say about her methods?
