Morning Brew: “Orphan Black” writers hate that Cosima is sick, Teri Polo and Sherri Saum cuddle up on “Home and Family”

Tiffany, who received Master of Fine Arts in sculpture from the Academy of Art in San Francisco and a bachelor’s degree in industrial design from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, is a freelance artist. Her favorite projects include everything from metal artwork to a large-scale barn renovation and gym redesign. Torche says her time in the Navy gave her a focused confidence she didn’t have before entering the service and that she dreams of showing HGTV viewers how art, design and renovation can be fused into a singular vision. She describes herself as an unreserved artist who knows her tattoos and sharp tongue make her instantly memorable. Torche describes her design style as “experimental industrial.”

Good morning, Brewbies! Welcome to Monday! io9 has posted an awesome, in-depth interview with Orphan Black‘s co-creators from Comic-Con. They talk a lot about a lot, including this little tidbit about our favorite clone:

Until she learned about the IP claim in her genetic code, Cosima was playing with the idea of working for Dyad. Now she has her own problem, and the solution to it may be in Dyad. Is that going to be a major issue for Cosima?

Definitely. She’s sick. There seem to be some respiratory problems. She’s a really brave character, and while she’s sick she’s definitely going to delve into her own science and her own health and biology. And in doing that, she’s doing that for all her sisters. I love Cosima. I love that character. It was very hard to make her sick.

We hate that she’s sick, too, so how about keeping her alive, eh? They also say we’re going to get some good Felix/Cosima time in season two, which should be an absolute delight.

Teri Polo and Sherri Saum were on Hallmark’s Home and Family on Friday talking about their lesbian home and family on The Fosters, and cuddling up, like every other time we see them out in public together. Little cuties. The guy co-hosting the interview is pretty cringe-y, but it has some funny and adorable moments. You can watch it here.

Looking for some Orange Is the New Black trading cards? Well, @OITNB has you covered. They tweeted this one of Alex Vause on Friday afternoon.

Tim Gunn would like you to know that in addition to being the first lesbian mayor of New York City, Christine Quinn would also do a hella lot for the fashion industry. (Hat tip: Queerty)

Pretty Little Liars costume designer Mandi Line has some summer fashion tips for you. “Cut off your sleeves” is tip #2, which will come as no surprise to anyone who has been watching Paige and Emily this season.

You know what we never talk about? What season is it in Rosewood? One second, Emily is bundled up in like 30 layers and a leather jacket and a beanie and the next second she’s wearing a cut-off t-shirt. Whatever, though. She looks like heaven in everything.

Our resident lesbian/bi TV schedule guru, Roni, tipped me off to a lesbian contestant on the new HGTV reality series Brother vs. Brother. Team Jonathan features a metal worker named Tiffany “Torche” Perkins. From her official HGTV bio:
