Morning Brew – Felicia Day’s lesbian character coming back to “Supernatural”

Good morning! I’m still not over The Killing last night.

The wildness that is Comic-Con went down over the weekend and some of your faves were there. We’ll have some individual coverage of panels on Lost Girl and Orphan Black coming up, but here are some photos to tide you over.

Of course, EW always has the best shots from their photobooth.

Speaking of Tara, Rutina Wesley listed 25 things you don’t know about her for Us Weekly. She loves Jillian Michaels, the color purple and sneakers.

Also this weekend, Outfest crowned its winners, including Reaching for the Moon (Audience Award for Outstanding Dramatic Feature Film) and Guinevere Turner for her role in Who’s Afraid of Vagina Wolf? (Grand Jury Award for Outstanding Actress in a Feature Film.

Apparently tags like #lesbian and #gay on Tumblr turn up “too much porn” so they are being censored in searches on the blog site. Sigh.

If you can’t get enough of Tig Notaro, listen to her tell a story about her step-father on The Moth.

Manga fans, have you read Tokyo Love by Rica Takashima and Takami Koka? Shaenon Garrity, a manga translator, calls it “sweet and cheerful” and it’s described as “an autobiographical manga about being young and lesbian in Japan’s capital.”

Felicia Day will be coming back to Supernatural in her role of the lesbian hacker/LARP Queen Charlie. Showrunner Jeremy Carver said of her return:

“We’re going to see her early on in a really fun episode that delves back into the earliest days of the Men of Letters. Literally, the first two Men of Letters turning the key into a bunker that’s never been used before in 1935. The first case they’re coming up against involves The Wizard of Oz in a way that we’ve never really seen that story approached before.”

If you want a suit or like to look at women in suits, HuffPo has you covered.

Pretty Little Liars writer Joseph Doherty hinted that a Paily sex scene could be in our future.
