Celebs get into the spirit of AfterEllen March Madness

There’s nothing quite as fun as watching our favorite celebrities get as excited as we do about their fictional counterparts. So, when our March Madness: Best Lesbian/Bi Character Ever tournament kicked off on Monday, we were delighted when Ali Liebert, Lauren Collins, and Michelle Krusiec went to bat for the gay ladies they play(ed) on Bomb Girls, Degrassi, and Saving Face.

The match-up between Betty McRae and Paule Oster from Lost and Delirious is actually the closest competition in round one. Yesterday, Betty was trailing by 1,500 votes, but as of 11:00 EST this morning, she’d pulled ahead by a slim margin of 18 votes. This one won’t be decided until we shut down the poll.

The always-gorgeous, super-graceful Michelle Krusiec — whose character Wil Pang from Saving Face is shellacking Bad Girls‘ Helen Stewart in round one — also weighed in on the Madness.

Voting for round one is open until midnight tonight!
