Glamour magazine has a collective girl crush on Saturday Night Live‘s current female cast, including out comedian Kate McKinnon. In the April issue, Kate is joined by Vanessa Bayer, Aidy Bryant, Nasim Pedrad and Cecily Strong in a photospread and interview about their work on the legendary weekend comedy series, which was also home to women like Tina Fey, Gilda Radner, Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig, just to name a few. “Molly Shannon, Cheri Oteri, Ana Gasteyer…I had T-shirts of all their characters,” Kate told Glamour of her favorite SNL women. “I taped the sketches every week and transcribed them the next morning. It was unhealthy.” I’m hoping that there will be T-shirts made of Kate’s characters, but most recently she’s been doing a lot of impersonations. On last night’s SNL, though, Kate and her female co-stars were part of a Nuva Bling commercial sketch. Who doesn’t want to put some shine in their gine? Right, me neither.
