Linda Hamilton to guest on “Lost Girl”

Bo is going to meet Sarah Connor. Linda Hamilton has signed on to guest star on Lost Girl in quite the killer role.

The former Terminator star will guest in the upcoming third season of Lost Girl. According to, she will appear in the tenth episode as Acacia, “a tough, sexy and ruthless assassin who has enjoyed a storied and deadly career.”

But the question remains, will she be fae – or gay for that matter. Hamilton has made a series of memorable guest appearances on TV shows in recent years. She appeared in the fourth and final season of Chuck as Chuck’s long-lost mother. And she also showed up on the sixth season of Weeds as a lesbian pot dealer.

No word on whether Hamilton’s Acacia will also make contact with Dr. Hotpants herself, Dr. Lauren Lewis. But if the show gives us Anna Silk, Zoie Palmer and Linda Hamilton all in the same scene it will truly be a smorgasbord of female badassery.

Silk, Ksenia Solo and Kris Holden-Ried all attended Comic-Con earlier this month in San Diego. But there was little to spill on the upcoming Season 3. And also, sadly, no Palmer. See the entire panel for yourself, posted here.

Lost Girl is currently airing its second season in the United States and moves to its new timeslot at 10 p.m. Friday this week. Season 3 is expected to begin airing in January 2013 on Showcase in Canada. SyFy has also already set its U.S. start date for the new season on Jan. 14, 2013.
