It’s hard to believe that the 2016 Summer Olympics are already over, but the good news is that LGBT women had a strong showing with 23 of them taking home gold, silver or bronze medals in their respective sports. There were records set, public proclamations of queerness, and proposals accepted, making for an entertaining and exciting couple of weeks in Rio.
