Out author Sarah Waters has a new book out next week in the UK and it sounds like something fans of her other work (Fingersmith, Tipping the Velvet) will definitely be into. The Paying Guests is a historical novel set in “Jazz Age London” and, in this video, Sarah explains the kind of research that went into the work and what we can expect to read. (Yes, it’s very lesbian!)
The Paying Guests will be available in the UK on August 28, while the rest of us in the U.S. will have to wait until September 16. We’ve waited five years for another Sarah Waters book, though, so what’s another few weeks?
