Morning Brew – Sarah Paulson on how long she’ll stick around “AHS”

Good morning! It’s been so long since we’ve last spoke. I feel like I have so many things to tell you.

The Guardian wrote about a discussion that went down in the UK last week called “Lesbophobia in the Media.” The panelists say Sue Perkins is asexualized and Last Tango in Halifax is the only show getting their lesbian characters right. I definitely disagree with the first part of that statement. This is what Fortune Feimster does when she’s hard at work on Chelsea Lately. Nice job if you can get it!

Ali Liebert talked with The Province about her new movie Afterparty.

If you need a custom suit, Bindle & Keep has you covered. The focus of the New York Times piece, Rachel Tutera, is also behind one of my favorite blogs, The Handsome Butch. Also, hello hot!

This is the best thing I’ve ever read. Skateslate.com has a list of Downhill Skating’s Top 5 Power Couples and here’s who came in number one:

1. Alicia Fillback and Carmen Sutra — The Sunset Sliders refer to this Portland-based duo of Sapphic shredders as the Scissor Sisters. The rest of us know them as the two best female freeriders. #dykesondecks, straight killin’ them straights!
Now watch them in action.

Salon.com says girl-on-girl action is on the rise. Hasn’t this been happening for, like, ever? It’s all a part of our gay agenda. Convert, convert!

A lesbian couple in Mississippi got married in San Francisco while it was legal but now wants a divorce. Looks like that’s a little too complicated for their home state to handle.

Annabel Giles is most famous for having been married to Ultravox singer Midge Ure but now she’s on the Aussie reality series I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here. She recently came out to her castmates about having a girlfriend at home.

Clare Balding‘s grandma was not so keen on her being a lesbian. The word she used: “Disgusting.” We got your back, Clare!

Speaking of grandmas, Charice‘s says she once tried to kill herself over financial issues. Suicide is never the answer!

Sleater-Kinney reunited during a Pearl Jam concert in Portland this week, and somehow forgot to invite me. They performed Neil Young‘s “Rockin’ in the Free World” with Eddie Vedder and co.

If you’re a theater geek, you’ll like these videos about the history of the some of Broadway’s most famous theaters. Cynthia Nixon is one of the speakers.

Sarah Paulson told Vanity Fair that she’s in American Horror Story for the long haul.

…it’s just the best job. I swear, if I could do American Horror Story: Season 940, Vampires in Space, I would totally be there.
