Margot Robbie will return as Harley Quinn in a new movie based off of the DC Comic, “Birds of Prey.” According to Variety, the film will be directed by Cathy Yan, making her the second woman behind Patty Jenkins (‘Wonder Woman’) to direct a DC movie. The script is being written by Christina Hodson, who is also writing ‘Batgirl’. This is a big win for women in cinema! Now we just need more gay women in directing, acting, and writing roles, too. The movie will begin production later this year after Robbie wraps up filming for her role in Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.’
