Katherine Heigl stars as the title character in the new lesbian-themed film Jenny’s Wedding. Jenny, a 30-something year old woman living in Cleveland, decides to marry her partner, Kitty, and comes out to her parents, who thought the women were just roommates. The film played at Outfest, where were were able to talk with Katherine about playing gay and why she wanted to be a part of the film, which opens in select theaters this Friday, July 31 and will be available on demand August 1.
