Survivors of Pulse Nightclub met Parkland High School students on Tuesday to bring words of comfort and support.
Survivors of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting visited surviving students of the Marjory Stoneman Douglass massacre, and it was an emotional day. Amid the grief, however, is a small silver lining, as young voices are speaking out in favor of stricter gun control laws. Maybe one day this country will get the changes we deserve to prevent future massacres.
On Wednesday, the Florida state capitol saw thousands of protestors rallying for stricter gun legislation. The day before, Republican-led Florida House of Representatives voted down the motion to discuss a bill that would ban assault weapons.
