Gal Gadot Tells Warner Brothers: It’s Either Him or Me.

Gal Gadot: I’m out as ‘Wonder Woman’ if Brett Ratner stays.

Gal Gadot is taking a stand against embattled director Brett Ratner. According to the New York Post, The “Wonder Woman” actress says she has no plans to do another film in the franchise unless Ratner is left completely off the project. Ratner’s production company RatPac-Dune Entertainment was part of the movie’s production. Warner Bros. announced last week that they were cutting ties with Ratner after multiple sexual harassment allegations leveled against him.

According to Page Six:

Ratner’s production company RatPac-Dune Entertainment helped produce “Wonder Woman” as part of its co-financing deal with Warner Bros. The movie has grossed more than $400 million internationally, and Ratner’s company will take a healthy share of the profits. A Warner Bros. insider explained, “Brett made a lot of money from the success of ‘Wonder Woman,’ thanks to his company having helped finance the first movie. Now Gadot is saying she won’t sign for the sequel unless Warner Bros. buys Brett out [of his financing deal] and gets rid of him.”

We think what Gadot is doing is pretty badass, considering it has far-reaching monetary consequences, and that is how change is usually made. Men like Ratner are seeing consequences for their actions.
