Morning Brew – Jessie J regrets calling bisexuality a phase

Good morning!

Lesbian filmmakers/actors/writers Guinevere Turner and Anna Margarita Albelo played “Be$tie$ For Ca$h” and results are amazing. (“Vagina-constant craving.”)

Speaking of Guinevere, she’s written a new horror film that Mary Harron will direct as part of a new all-female horror series called XX. Guinevere wrote on Facebook that her script, “takes place in the world of Pacific Northwest homeless teens in the ’90s!”

If straight people had to come out….

Jessie J is in Billboard this month where she says she regrets saying her bisexuality was a “phase.”

“I’m a talker; I wear my heart on my sleeve. But sometimes I just have to know when to shut up.”
The writer notes she “declined to talk further” about the incident. But at least it’s something!

Slate has a great piece on M-Chuck, the lesbian character from Survivor’s Remorse. June Thomas spoke with Executive Producer Mike O’Malley about creating the part and why she’s a womanizer. (He doesn’t really see her as one.) And the good news is that the show has already been renewed for Season 2.
