After tallying 110,000 votes cast on on its website, animal rights organization PETA today announced their annual picks for the world’s sexiest vegetarians. American Idol-winner and country star Carrie Underwood claimed the female title this year (as she did in 2005):
and Tonight Show band leader Kevin Eubanks won for sexiest male vegetarian.
Runners up this year were Joaquin Phoenix, Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Leto, and
Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell (pictured below with a dog that she did not later consume)
Yes, this was just the excuse we needed to run pics of Portman, Silverstone and Twain.
Is it a coincidence that several of these sexy vegetarians also made the AfterEllen.com Hot 100 List? I doubt it. Lesbians have always known that activism is sexy.
