Brazilian dance-band CSS makes the best party music, and so of course they have recorded a song called “Hangover.” Co-written with punk pioneer Tim Armstrong of Rancid, the queer group (made up of singer Lovefoxxx, guitarist/drummers Luiza Sá, Ana Rezende and Carolina Parra) says the song is all about “being young and having fun.” The new CSS album, Planta, comes out in June, and includes a track featuring out Gossip drummer Hannah Blile called “Dynamite” as well as other danceable tunes.
Speaking of dancing, the best part about their new video is they have the amazing moves choreographed by Toni Basil of “Hey Mickey” fame. Hopefully the girls will do some of them during their summer tour, which kicks off June 14 in Santa Ana, California.
