Last night PBS aired the ceremony about Ellen DeGeneres winning this year’s Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Friends and colleagues of Ellen went on stage to honor her as a stand-up comic, a talk show host, a lesbian friend, and a person. Jimmy Kimmel played host while guests include Ellen’s wife Portia de Rossi, Jane Lynch, Lily Tomlin and Kristin Chenoweth, among many others.
