People magazine is reporting that Rosie O’Donnell wed Michelle Rounds on June 9 in New York, but is only now making that news public. O’Donnell’s rep Cindi Berger told People, “They got married but they haven’t had the wedding celebration.” O’Donnell also wrote about the marriage on her blog. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Attention chefs! The True Blood cookbook, True Blood: Eats, Drinks and Bites from Bon Temps hits stores on August 29. The recipe book, co-written by the show’s out associate producer Gianna Sobol, will feature cocktails from Fangtasia and meals from Merlotte’s restaurant. Yum!

Vogue has released more photos from their September issue featuring Lady Gaga. In Gaga’s interview the out artist said, “I don’t want to settle down yet. I just want to keep riding this rainbow.” I am also an avid rainbow rider.
Ryan Murphy and Ali Adler‘s new gay-themed comedy The New Normal will not be aired on the Utah’s KSL-TV, because the television station deemed the show “inappropriate.” The CEO of KSL’s parent company, Jeff Simpson, released the following statement, “After viewing the pilot episode of The New Normal, we have made the decision to keep it off our fall schedule. For our brand, this program simply feels inappropriate on several dimensions, especially during family viewing time.” KSL also refused to air the short-lived The Playboy Club, starring Amber Heard.
