The trailer for Kristen Stewart’s Snow White and the Huntsman looks epic and action-packed, but the trailer for Julia Roberts’ retelling of the classic Snow White tale, Mirror Mirror, is giving off a whole different vibe. Congratulations to Chelsea Handler. The bawdy comedian’s hit E! show Chelsea Lately has been renewed through 2014. That should make out comedian and Chelsea Lately staff writer Fortune Feimster very happy.
Out rocker Linda Perry, Emmy Award-winning musical duo Wendy & Lisa and queer comedian Margaret Cho will join forces with The Section Quartet in a benefit concert to raise money to replace musical instruments lost in this year’s Japanese tsunami. On Sunday, November 20 at 7 p.m., Cho will co-host the event with songwriter Grant-Lee Phillips at Largo in Los Angeles.
Glee star Jane Lynch and her wife, Lara Embry, were in attendance this weekend in Los Angeles as the LA Gay & Lesbian Center celebrated its 40th anniversary. We chatted with her briefly about the celebration and how her being out (and married) could help the LGBT fight for equality.
