Good afternoon! How was your weekend? I ended up going to Urgent Care to get a shot in my hip to soothe my week-long migraine. (Is it odd that I think my butt bruise is cool?)
Yesterday Pariah actress Kim Wayans celebrated her 50th birthday. Damn she looks good!
Black Swan took home a slew of awards at the 2011 Scream Awards over the weekend. The award show won’t air until tomorrow night at 9 p.m. on Spike TV, so if you don’t want to know the results, then skip down to the photo of Iron Chef Cat Cora.
Darren Aronofsky won the Best Director award, Natalie Portman won Best Fantasy Actress and Mila Kunis took home the Scream award for Best Supporting Actress.
The amazing Cat Cora shares some of her Greek recipes with Wine Enthusiast magazine. The Iron Chef recommends a spicy cherry wine with her rabbit stew. Since I’m a vegetarian, I recommend that you don’t eat rabbit. Not eating rabbit pairs well with a frothy lite beer.

On Saturday night, Lady Gaga serenaded President Bill Clinton during a concert celebrating the 10th anniversary of Clinton’s foundation at the Hollywood Bowl. Gaga performed “Bill Romance” instead of “Bad Romance.”
The lovely Emma Stone will host Saturday Night Live for the second time on November 12. I’m crossing my fingers that she’ll avoid that pesky grape jelly this time around.
Tomorrow Tony Award-winning actress Idina Menzel (Wicked, Rent, Glee) will sit down with the ladies at The Talk and on Thursday, October 20, The Ellen DeGeneres Show will feature Rachel Maddow and musical guest Robyn.re
