Anna Paquin is producing and starring in a new indie called Free Ride. She’ll play “an abused single mother in the 1970s who moves her two daughters to Florida to make a new life for herself.” Twilight‘s Cam Gigandet will play her love interest. Can’t wait to see Anna in some ’70s outfits!

Congrats to out lesbian Janice Langbehn! She’ll be receiving the 2011 Presidential Citizens Medal for bringing attention to the fact her partner died alone in the hospital because Janice wasn’t allowed to be with her. The sad thing is this still happens all the time, but I’m glad Janice was able to get through to the President in her sad case.
If you’re watching Charlie’s Angels, then maybe you’ll feel this is a good enough reason to continue. Co-stars Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor make out in an upcoming episode. OK, if one of them goes gay, then I’ll watch. Maybe.
