Back when Jennifer’s Body was coming out, there was tons of talk about the kiss between Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. Sometimes Amanda would get asked about it and she’d roll her eyes like “Oh my god, guys, there is so much more to the movie!” But now she’s bringing it up years later while doing press for other films. She recently told a reporter:
I can’t believe nobody wanted to see Megan Fox and me hitting it. They had an extreme close-up of our tongues, and I’m telling you, the thing about the scene is that it’s actually really sexy. I think Megan and I kissed really well together. We have similar kissing styles and it worked. We got it done for the masses, and the masses still didn’t show up.
Probably because you can watch that scene on a million videos for free on the web, so why see the whole movie? Which I have, twice. But also, lesbian kissing does not a movie make. If you wanted people to see a film based on its sexy lesbian kissing, well, you could have made it a lot cheaper with a webcam and keywords HOT LESBIANS KISSING.
Guys, an Annie Lennox style retrospective is happening in the UK and she dishes on her connection with fashion over at the Stylist.co.uk. And she told them she doesn’t think Lady Gaga copped her style when she dressed in drag.
Gaga makes incredible art. She’s exceptional. The parallel was obvious, but whether she was copying me or somebody else doesn’t make any difference. Women have been wearing men’s clothes for centuries. It’s a powerful thing when a woman wears something less feminine. Season 2 of Boardwalk Empire kicks off Sept. 25, but they had a premiere in New York last night, and Aleska Pallandino looked gorgeous on the red carpet. She plays Angela, a woman married to a man (Michael Pitt), but who fell for a women last season. It remains to be seen what is going to happen this season, as her lover fled and Angela was left on her own to pick up the pieces.
