Afternoon Delight: Kristen Stewart on the cover of “W,” Erin Daniels in “The Sitter”

Happy 21st birthday to Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence and 31-year old My Summer of Love‘s Natalie Press. And happy belated birthday to Mila Kunis. The Black Swan actress turned 29 on August 14.

Kristin Stewart is on the cover of W magazine looking, well, nothing like Kristen Stewart. Stewart talks about growing up in front of the camera (remember when she played Jodie Foster‘s daughter in Panic Room?), saying farewell to Bella and being called a “tomboy.”

Stewart told W: “I have brothers, and that so-called boyish quality was something that I was deathly self-conscious about when I was younger. I was, like, ‘No, I’m a girl.’ Actually, I’m still embarrassed to say that.” W‘s September fashion issue hits newsstands this week.

Out actress Saffron Burrows has taken center stage with the critically acclaimed play This. This is a comedy that “captures forty-something life at its most vulnerable in a narrative that charms, shocks and resonates.” That doesn’t sound funny at all. Check out Barrows performance at The Kirk Douglas Theatre (9820 Washington Blvd. Culver City, CA 90232). This runs until August 28.

Monster actress Charlize Theron has teamed up with Academy Award-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody for the dramedy Young Adult. Theron plays a divorced fiction writer who returns to her small town home to rekindle her romance with her ex-boyfriend (played by Patrick Wilson). Oh, did I mention that Wilson’s character is married and has a bunch of kids? Yikes! Young Adult will be released in theaters December 16.

The L Word actress Erin Daniels and her cleavage star in the ridiculous comedy The Sitter alongside Johan Hill. Is it just me or does The Sitter look like the male version of Adventures in Babysitting? Aww, I just remembered that I had a huge crush on Elisabeth Shue and her massively fluffy hair in 1987. The Sitter hits theaters December 9.

My favorite color is pink, which is why I felt compelled to share with you that the adorable Glee actress Dianna Agron has dyed her hair my favorite hue. Agron makes everything look good.

Make sure to tune into TBS’ Conan this week. Tonight the red-headed host will sit down with outspoken LGBT advocate Kathy Griffin and Wednesday, August 17 the bisexual songstress Vanessa Carlton stops by the show and will hopefully sing.

Last night on HBO’s True Blood, out actress Fiona Shaw continued to create some serious havoc for Sookie and her friends as the socially awkward possessed Wiccan Marnie Stonebrook. Congratulations to Shaw for stealing every scene she’s in. I have a feeling the TB season finale is going to be spectacular!

The lesbian musical duo That’s What She Said are taking their hilarious extended show to M Bar in Hollywood. TWSS, comprised of Kathryn Lounsbery and Amy Turner, will perform Thursday, September 8 at 8 p.m.

Video of the Day:
