Morning Brew – Thursday, August 26: Jennifer Aniston to have a threesome with two women in “Wanderlust”

Hey you! Looking good today.

This will either make you excited or make you want to cry: Jennifer Aniston is going to be getting down in a threesome with two women in her upcoming film Wanderlust.

The Judd Apatow-directed film begins this fall with this premise:

Jen and Paul Rudd play Linda and George, a happily married couple who can no longer afford to live in Manhattan when George loses his job. En route to live with his brother in Atlanta, the pair stop overnight at an inn — which really happens to be a commune — and decide to live their lives as freeloading hippies for awhile.

Obviously this is where they decide to join in on the free love and I can only assume it will have comical results, especially since one of the women Jen makes love to is pregnant. I can’t imagine this will be a heartfelt scene about women making love – not in a Judd Apatow film.

Wanda Sykes went on Larry King Live last night where she touched on several hot topics, including how she came out to her parents. She said:

“I have parents who are still alive. So yeah… that’s why you suppress all that, you bury it, and to try to fit in. I’m 46… My father’s in the service. Right, retired colonel. So (I told them in) a long distance phone call. We’re talking, like, coast to coast. You always want to give your family like a six-hour plane ride before they can get to you. We’re working on it… They love me… I know without a doubt, my family, they love me. And you know, we’re working on it. Keep praying for us.”

And here’s a clip of her discussing Dr. Laura‘s use of the N-word.

“Black people don’t listen to Dr. Laura!” I love it. Wanda Sykes is my hero.

Zombie film fans, check out Survival of the Dead on Bluray and DVD now for a lesbian character named Tomboy. She’s a soldier, she’s tough as nails – and apparently she likes to touch herself in her car during the apocalypse.

A new documentary in China called Cream of the Queer Crop profiles the top 10 leaders of China’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. The gay women include Les Plus magazine founder Sam, activist Xu Bin and oral historian Xiangqi. Check out queercomrades.com to find out how you can see the film.

A new film from Hong Kong called All About Love follows ex-girlfriends Macy and Anita as they both become pregnant (they’re bisexual) and join a group for expecting mothers. There they meet again and fall back in love, complicating things for themselves and the baby daddys. Here’s the trailer.

The good news is that AE reader bwbwbwbw says that not only is there a happy ending for lesbians, but the film will be showing in major cinemas in Hong Kong starting today.

Lena Katina of t.A.T.u. will be launching her solo career at a performance in San Francisco on Sept. 17. Lena, who is not a lesbian but is willing to pretend if you want her to, will perform “new original singles and t.A.T.u. hits.”

Not gonna lie – the other one was a little more my style.

Samantha Ronson has continued to visit with ex-gf Lindsay Lohan now that she’s out of both jail and rehab. Could a romance still be going on between them? Ex-gfs: it’s so hard to quit them!

The sad part is that Sam is being badgered about Lindsay’s release. Watch this video of her getting attacked by paparazzi who are most concerned with Lilo, of course.

Check back later for an interview with Katie Melua as well as your typical Thursday fare.
