Morning Brew – “Glee” stars come out for 100th episode party

Good morning!

Let’s begin with a little #TBT. Chaz Bono, k.d. lang, Leisha Hailey and Madonna‘s queer BFF Ingrid Cesares the GLAAD Media Awards in 1998.

Glee stars came out to celebrate their 100th episode on Tuesday night. They have gotten noticeably more chic over time, haven’t they?

The Daily Beast wonders where the show went wrong, and Naya Rivera confirms she’s definitely coming back to the show (at least for now).

If you’re in New York tonight, check out Winter Heat, a women’s party with celebs like Lea DeLaria, Kristen Ellis-Henderson, Heather Matarazzo, Our Lady J, Rosie Pierri and Jane Velez-Mitchell in attendance.

ABC has listed the return dates for some of your fave shows. Grey’s Anatomy is back May 15.

Meanwhile NBC renewed Chicago Fire. Yay!

Marlene King answered the question we all want to know: What about Paige?

Paige is not gone from our world — she’s definitely still a part of it. We see her in the first episode back this summer. There’s going to be an interesting Paige/Emily/Alison storyline that we’re going to explore that we’re excited about.
Phew.

Netflix has picked up a new series called Grace and Frankie starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. From Indiewire: “Fonda and Tomlin play the titular longtime rivals whose lives are turned upside down when their husbands announce that they’re in love and are going to get married.” Out comic Dana Goldberg is one of the writers and, wow, I can’t wait.

Over at Slate today: “Marina and Elena: A Lesbian Love Story From Russia,” an excerpt from Masha Gessen’s new book.

Sundance darling Dear White People has been picked up for distribution by Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions, which means we could be seeing the queer-friendly comedy soon!
