Morning Brew: Ellen wins her 13th People’s Choice Award, Rosie welcomes a baby girl

Good morning, Brewbies! Are you following Trish Bendix (@TrishBendix) on Twitter, live from the Television Critics Association winter press tour? If not, you’re really missing out. Not only did she spend a full day tracking down our favorite Glee actresses and asking them the real fandom questions, not only is she chatting up Marlene King and Shay Mitchell today, but yesterday, after the Arrested Development panel, Portia de Rossi told Trish that she loved her!

By the way, those all new episodes of Arrested Development will land on Netflix in May!

And speaking of the nation’s best lesbian couple, Ellen DeGeneres took home her 13th People’s Choice Award last nibght for Favorite Daytime TV Host. During her acceptance speech, she said, “I want to thank everyone on my team: Melissa Etheridge, Jane Lynch, Wanda Sykes…”

Also looking supah fly on the PCA red carpet was Shay Mitchell.

Congratulations to Rosie O’Donnell and wife Michelle Rounds, who announced yesterday via Twitter that they’ve got a new baby in their life: “we r thrilled to announce the arrival of r daughter Dakota – #withloveandthanks – AMEN.”

In honor of the Golden Globes this weekend, The Hollywood Reporter sat down with Jodie Foster and asked her to open up about ten of her most iconic movies. My favorite anecdote is about Freaky Friday:

They nominated me for this because they felt bad for not nominating me for Taxi Driver! [Laughs.] “Now we have to nominate her for something else.” I remember having a lot of pimples when I made that movie, which was upsetting. It’s the one movie I’ve made I actually can’t watch. Those awkward teenage years: Your nose is big, and you’ve got pimples. The funny thing about it is, every kid I meet, when I say I was in Freaky Friday, they’re like, “Oh, the Lindsay Lohan movie?!” I’m like, “Nooo!”
