Attention Grey’s Anatomy fans! Eric Dane (Dr. Mark “McSteamy” Sloan) is leaving the popular ABC show. For those of you who hated the Mark/Callie/Arizona parenting-love triangle your prayers have been answered. Creator Shonda Rhimes told TVLine, “after much consideration and conversations, he (Dane) and I have decided that this is the right time for his storyline to end.” Does this news make you happy or sad?

Transgender choreographer Sean Dorsey has created The Secret History of Love, a performance piece highlighting the history of LGBT community thru dance. The show runs August 4 and 5 at Highways Performance Space in Los Angeles and “moves through the decades, uncovering the ways transgender and queer people managed to find and love each other in through the years. Secret love affairs, the history of outlawing love and the underground ways that transgender and queer people found each other through the decades are revealed in these new dances.”

Last week a Nebraska woman reported that she was a victim of an alleged anti-gay hate crime, though many people believe it was all an elaborate hoax. Charlie Rogers, an open lesbian, told police that three masked men broke into her home, bound her with zip ties, carved homophobic slurs into her skin, dumped gasoline on the floor and then light a match. The Lincoln Journal-Star, a local paper, reported that there are no suspects at this time and the police “hadn’t ruled out the possibility” that Rogers staged the attack.

In the below video Rogers addressed those who doubt her accusations.
