Afternoon Delight: Mila Kunis in “Blood Ties,” the most powerful female celebs on the “Forbes” list

Good afternoon and happy Thursday!

I intentionally mentioned the day of the week because tonight is the season 8 finale of Grey’s Anatomy. I want you all to tune in at ABC at 9 pm so I don’t suffer the outlandish and gory plane crash episode alone. (10 bucks says Shonda axes Lexie.)

In other news, happy birthday to Nikki Reed, Enya and Tabatha Coffey! Coffey scares me and I like it.

I woke up super early this morning to walk my dog, Francine, and when I couldn’t go back to sleep I turned on the Cooking Channel and discovered out chef Lynn Crawford hosting Pitchin’ In. If you haven’t seen the tattooed, motorcycle-riding, former executive-chef turned culinary adventurer in action, then you are seriously missing out. (p.s. Crawford and I have the same pair of Chucks.)

If you have an extra four minutes in your day, check out the “super preview” for The Amazing Spider-Man. I’m pretty sure there are no special effects used in this film.

Which ladies made the Forbes‘ most powerful celebrity list? Jennifer Lopez (who nabbed the number one spot), Oprah Winfrey, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga, just to name a few.

Speaking of Gaga, it’s easy being green for the self-proclaimed “Lady” as she hangs out in Taiwan.

Go behind the scenes of Promentheus with star Charlize Theron and/or watch Noomi Rapace‘s character introduction video below. I might have to sit this scary movie out.

If you like hearing the latest on how the entertainment industry has positively reacted to President Obama’s support of gay marriage, then take a gander at The Hollywood Reporter‘s article, “How Obama’s Gay Marriage Gamble Opened Hearts-and Wallets- In Hollywood.”

Mila Kunis sported wedding apparel on the set of her new movie Blood Ties, co-starring Clive Owen. On a side note, Owen is too old to even pretend to be marrying Kunis!

Tomorrow night lesbian comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer will be taking her comedy stylings to the Legacy Theatre (101 E. Lawrence Ave) in Springfield, IL. Good times will be had by all.

Out chef Cat Cora shared the recipe for her Greek-style nachos on her official website. Beside the feta, which I’m allergic to, it looks delicious!

Tweet of the Day!

Ruby Rose tweeted a very sweet message about the late Donna Summer.
