Gal Gadot dressed as her famous DC Comics’ character Wonder Woman and surprised the Inova Children’s Hospital, making a lot of kids and their doctors very happy. The surprise visit happened while the Wonder Woman cast and crew were filming the sequel in Washington, D.C. and the Virginia area. What a gal!
Speaking fo the movie filming, are you anticipating the sequel? The original movie surpassed the original Spider-Man as the highest-grossing superhero origin story ever in 2017. The Patty Jenkins-directed blockbuster grossed $821.749 million worldwide, pushing it past the $821.708 million record set by Spider-Man. So, the sequel has a lot to live up to, but we expect it will be just as, if not more amazing. What we know about Wonder Woman 2 so far is that it’s slated to be released at the end of 2019 (yes, we’ve got to wait that long…) and it’s set in 1984, and according to Jenkins herself, the film will take place in the US this time, not Europe. Gal Gadot is still Wonder Woman, and Kristen Wiig has signed on to play the new villain, Cheetah. Jenkins has also promised a great love story, but we have no false hope that it will be a lesbian love story, despite the original Wonder Woman comics presenting Themyscira as basically a lesbian paradise.
