Amber Tamblyn tells Parade about her Two and a Half Men character:

“She’s unapologetic, and she likes to have fun. She’s in her mid-twenties and trying to figure out who and what she is. She’s got a real sort of low-register voice and she’s pretty tough and she laughs at inappropriate places about really disgusting, foul things. And in general, she is just from rough stock, with an appetite for booze. That makes for some great television!

“I love that she doesn’t really have a moral compass, that I know of yet. Her compass is broken. She’s just sort of out there and wild and enjoying herself, and it’s just fun to play someone who has no regard in that sense…She doesn’t go much deeper than just enjoying the absurdities and the shallowness of life. That’s just a really fun thing for an actor to play.”

The new season kicks off tomorrow night on CBS.

Vogue went behind-the-scenes with Taylor Schilling as she prepared for the Emmys.

Drowned in Sound has a great interview with Goldfrapp about her new album and video.

It has been soiled too much. The Palme d’Or had been a brief moment of happiness; then I’ve felt humiliated, dishonored, I felt rejected, I live it like I’m cursed.
He also said he wanted to replace the actresses and asked Lea Seydoux to leave the set once. Yikes.
