Your Weekly Women to Listen to: Alela Diane, Dance Yourself to Death and more

Flavorwire recently put out a list of 10 new(ish) female musicians you should be treating your ears to and I must say, I totally co-sign it and give them a hearty virtual air high-five. Putting together a list of any type is dreadfully difficult, especially when you have readers as passionate about their musical taste as you are (I am talking about you, gorgeous). I can’t claim to be the all-knowing octopus who correctly guessed the outcome of the World Cup, but I’ve been known to make a pretty darn good mix tape.

So, while you should absolutely check Flavorwire’s list of ladies, I thought now might be just as good a time as any to throw out some other names for you to check out. Please keep in mind, this is in no way a complete list; this is the first of what will be a really long list of incredible musicians, so if you don’t see someone you love, check back next week.

In no particular order, since all of them are amazeboobs.
