This week, at the risk of speaking to soon, we go on record with our assessment of “Listen Up” as perhaps the most boring episode of The L Word. Ever.
While probably all of our mothers taught us that whole “If you can’t say something nice, then keep your trap shut” maxim, we instead refer to the other time-honored lesbian tradition, that of making a list of all the things we didn’t like.
Yes, it’s true that there was some good in this episode. For example, watching other people endure group therapy! That’s always fun, right? Then there’s Alice using puppet hands to help Dana practice coming out to her mom. Good times! And, finally, Jenny stalking spying on the woman she’s in love with, well that’s just comedy gold.
